Project details
An existing part is the starting point.
Suitable starting projects include housings, brackets, holders and interior components. The application, required material, loads and fit determine whether a printed replacement is appropriate. Each part is assessed before manufacture.
Size, assembly and material
The maximum one-piece printing size is 256 × 256 × 256 mm. Larger components can be bonded together or delivered in sections for bonding at your location, by agreement. Joint locations and assembly requirements must be discussed before production.
Available printing materials: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and ASA-CF. Tell us about loads, temperature, exposure and the required material. Material choice and suitability are agreed for the specific use; a printed replacement is not automatically suitable for every application.
A broken or worn sample
Photograph the complete part, the damage and its installation position. Keep broken fragments and mating components where possible. Reference dimensions help distinguish the intended shape from wear or distortion.
We assess whether the available sample and measurements are sufficient. Missing geometry, mounting holes and required changes are discussed before reconstruction.
Agree what is included
Confirm the quantity, material, finish and agreed checks. Discuss whether the project also includes STEP CAD files, assembly or a prototype for fit assessment.
Sample return and replacement delivery are agreed before you ship. Do not send the original until the project and shipping instructions have been confirmed.
Cost and timing
The assessment considers reconstruction work, geometry, material, quantity, assembly and checks. Clarify manufacturing costs and both shipments before accepting the project.
Allow for sample transit, engineering, manufacture and return transit. Your preferred date helps us assess the complete schedule; there is no single delivery time for all countries.
