Before you book a shipment
Send your country, photos, dimensions, approximate weight and the part’s purpose. Include fragile areas, broken fragments and any mating parts needed to assess fit.
Confirm the exact delivery address and recipient details after the project is agreed. Discuss who books and pays for each shipment, tracking, declared value and any appropriate carrier cover. Confirm whether the original must be returned.
Prepare and pack the sample
Photograph the part and its condition before packing. Remove loose dirt only if it can be done without damaging the sample; discuss residues, liquids or other handling concerns before shipment.
Protect fragile features, immobilise the sample in a suitable box and keep it away from the outer walls. Pack small pieces separately in labelled bags so they cannot be lost. Follow the agreed carrier’s packing requirements and keep photos of the packed parcel.
Tracking and return delivery
Keep the tracking number and share it with us. Agree how the replacement and original will be packed and whether they travel together or separately.
If the parcel is damaged or delayed, retain the packaging, photos and tracking information and contact us and the carrier promptly. The carrier’s conditions and the agreed arrangements determine the next steps; discuss cover and responsibilities before dispatch.
Outside the EU
Shipments from outside the EU may require customs paperwork. We review carrier requirements and costs for your location before arranging delivery.
If you already have an STL scan, the CAD work and STEP delivery can be handled remotely. If only a physical sample is available, discuss scanning or sample shipment with us first.
Plan the complete schedule
Total project time includes outbound transit, engineering, manufacture where required and return transit. Tell us your target date before booking transport.
Courier choice, charges, transit estimates and the return of your sample are confirmed individually. We do not publish a single shipping price or transit time for all countries.
